Going for Two: Week Fifteen J E T S Jets Jet Jets!

I knew that there was football on tonight, even though a friend told me otherwise, and I tuned in to see some of the best parts of the game. I picked the Jets to win, the NFL Power Rankings indicated Jets, Football Locks picked the Jets, and all of my calculations picked the Jets. Dallas had home field advantage and nothing else.

The lead went back and forth all night, and I tuned in just as the Jets got their only touchdown to take the lead. After the kickoff, the Cowpokes made it to field goal range to tie it up with less than 2 minutes to go.

They probably thought they were pretty great, all ready to go into that dreaded overtime, but suddenly, the Jets made it solidly into field goal range to go up by 3. They gave the ball back with half a minute left, but an intercepted hail mary attempt solidified Dallas's absolute failure - and helped the Jets get that much closer to clinching a playoff spot.

These days, I watch the post-game interviews to pick up any analysis that could inform future picks, but tonight, I witnessed some beardy-man silliness, some of which you see in the Vine.

Then these two guys on the Jets who are the best receiver duo in the game or something were interviewed in front of fans that answered the question I had earlier today: Just what is the corny cheer that the Jets use? Well, now I know. Ooooh? Who who who who who!
